Traveling to Wisconsin

Earlier this summer, we had the delight of going to visit our sister and brother in law, and meet our very own sweet niece, Isabella. It was a bitter-sweet yet healing trip. Our baby Joy was born just a few days before Isabella. It was good to spend time with the TenDolles. Here are a few pictures.

Field day: one HF contact

Steven, supposedly a ham radio operator, made a token single HF contact (with san Diego) after two or so (full, wonderful) years of being off the HF bands.

This was done during ARRL Field Day.

Three for your Morning Update

  • Thank you again for the many kind comments and prayers. We miss our little one, but know she is with our Lord. He has supported our family in so many ways in this time.
  • We rejoice at the birth of our niece, Isabella Joy.

The Home-going of our Little Joy

Last Thursday, in God’s always-good providence, He took our little baby Joy home to be with Him. We appreciate your prayer that our family would glorify Him as He gives us grace at this time. We trust in our risen Christ’s mercy and look for the certain hope of His resurrection. We are grateful for those who have helped us with meals, and for the kind words of encouragement from family and friends near and far.

Kitchen Getting Finished

Since this picture was taken, the countertop is on the Island too! There are only a few finishing touches left . . . but that is not keeping us from starting to unpack and set up our kitchen. : )
