Birthday in Missouri

A special birthday breakfast with Daddy [a long standing tradition] and Steven. [A new tradition . . . he’s taking the picture!]

I’m glad to hear you got to go back home for Christmas. My husband has been talking with your father about being keynote speaker at a conference next fall. Maybe we’ll get to meet those sweet parents of yours soon.
I’m sure your father was thrilled to have his daughter home to celebrate his birthday with him.

I love that you have a birthday tradition with you dad. I did too. He always took me out on my bday growing up, but when I became an adult we would meet for breakfast at Cracker Barrel on my bday. Daddy passed away in October and I am going to miss that tradition. Enjoy those times.
