The house looks lovely and it must be exciting to be working on your home together!
I have a completely unrelated question if you don’t mind… We have just purchased several Psalms for Singing books and I’m looking for a piano version – one that will sit on the piano open. Usually they are ringbound, but I don’t see one either from the Genevan Foundation or from Crown and Covenant. However, C & C has ringbound pages available for a 7 ring binder. May I ask what you use?
Thanks for saying hello and for your encouragement on our home. We are learning to be patient and flexible. : )
On the Book of Psalms for Singing, you are on the right track with looking for the piano version at C&C. You can just purchase the pages, but if you want both the pages and the binder to hold them, it is sold here for $31 plus shipping. Hope this helps. It is what I use at the piano, by the way.
Thank you SO much for the Birthday greetings to me, on Abby’s blog!I don’t think that I’ll every forget the one you sent last year!!! My 12th Birthday went well.
We all had lots of fun on my Birthday– and ate lots of cake and icecream, and quesadillas for dinner. I had SEVERAL gifts. In fact, Caleb and Jaden put together a “mystery”/treasure hunt for one of my presents. It turns out, it is the new DVD “The Mysterious Islands”. It’s to be shipped here soon. Mom is also working on a pretty dress for one of my dolls. Perhaps I’ll send you some photos of it when is finished.
Don’t worry about not being a good correspondent to me– I know that you’re busy doing remodeling. At least we can keep up with each other on our blogs.
I liked Mrs. K’s question. We belong to a Psalm singing group and have been looking for similar books too. We have your Psalm singing kit Rebecca and it has been a great help.
Glad to see your home is coming along. I love that color and the front door looks really nice. Looks like you two have been very busy!
Looking great I LOVE stucco it is one of my fav materials in home building! What is your floor color a blue with hnt of grey?? I think you are set to get a frig in your kitchen before me!! 3 yrs and the refrig is still in the garage! I will have to get your private email to send you pics of all our rehabs here. Everything you touch in the home is being either ripped out or painted(walls)! Ripped out the driveway last summer (yes we were out there putting chunks of concrete in a dumpster and we have a long driveway!Had a stamped colored one put in,also poured the front porch (looks amazing) all new siding windows gutters the works, painted the concrete stone on front of the house (tried 3 companies by far rustoleum concrete stain was the best!) still working on back of the house with siding when Rob can because of the winter it just gets too cold! Also to be completed is entire upstairs 4 bedrooms floors and light fixtures, 2 baths gutting those. And staircase to upstairs (been ripped out oh 2 yrs just bare wood ), the orange garage doors yes orange have yet to be replace (have the new ones just ran out of good weather!) and of course last but most certainly not least the kitchen. Completed is the basement, dining family and living room with new fireplace and first floor bathroom, windows and lots of new doors and light fixtures so far. Seriously we will just build a new house next time!! We say that now! LOL!
Love to hear more remodeling things you are doing!!! Tammi Hall
Thank you, Rebecca! That was helpful; we managed to miss the set with the binder…
Patience and flexibility are certainly virtues. We’ve been building a home for 14 years now and although I don’t recommend that ;-), it has its advantages and opportunities to learn! Working steadily through a long period of time has helped me appreciate many little things I might otherwise have taken for granted. God works in every circumstance and makes everything beautiful in its own time!

How beautiful! That is a lovely shade of green. I’m sure the two of you are having a great time getting your house just the way you want it.
