Ezra Thankful Loomis

Ezra Thankful Loomis (due August, 2015) was born at home around 3:50 AM on the morning of Tuesday, February the 24th, 2015 AD.
His soul had already gone home to be at rest with the Lord.

Ezra (עזרא) means “God is my helper”. Ezra 7:10 tells us he was a priest and scribe who set his heart to study, do, and teach the Law of the Lord.
“Baby Thankful” was our in-the-womb name for him. Thankful Williams Tyler (1751-1829) was also his 7th-great grandmother who lived in Tolland, CT.

 Our soul waits for the Lord;
he is our help and our shield.
 For our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
 Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. Psalm 33:20-22

Rebecca and the family are well, trusting in God’s sovereign care and the sure resurrection in Christ at the last day.

    Steven & Rebecca, I have to apologize for not understanding this post. I read it as a healthy birth, but I understand that your baby did not make it into this life. I am very sorry for the loss. Our prayers are with you and your family at this time. May the grace and peace of God be yours.
