We tidied up the server closet a bit by building some shorter patch wires and strapping almost everything down.

Cabling
On Saturday, among many other things, we installed a new access box for the cable modem connection, and pulled 25′ of cat5e+rg6/quad. It was a team effort. The patch panel is very happy bolted to the wall after years of “temporary” mounting.
Priming
Steven finished priming the front porch tonight. Whew. It’s nice to be directly working on the project!
