		<description>This gave me a smile, happy memories of my late brother, who was a ham and quite proud of it.  But only one contact? That surprised...is ham radio going the way of the buggy whip, what with all the instantaneous communications now available? Just curious.  I looked at the ARRL page and the numbers there seemed smaller than I&#039;d&#039;ve imagined.

PS, chuckled at the careful specification that the years away were, indeed, full and wonderful. 8-)</description>
